DPA Director Compares Republican Legislators to a “Cult”
Mariah Hatta, executive director of the Democratic Party of Arkansas, was interviewed yesterday by the Arkansas Democrat Gazette on the newly elected State Senator Michael Lamoureux from Russellville. In it, Hatta said she hoped that Lamoureux will “avoid the hyper-partisanship cult of Republican legislators, mostly in the House, who would like to make the Capital in Little Rock more like the one in Washington.”
This cult statement did not go over too well with Arkansas Republican. “I guess if you don’t agree with President 
Obama and Governor Beebe then you get labeled as being part of some crazy cult,” said House Minority Leader Bryan King. “I would say partisanship includes things like trying to dissolve the Electoral College so that the average Arkansans vote no longer matters. Something the Democrat members of the House tried to accomplish.”
“Ironically most Arkansans agree with these conservative views,” added RPA Chairman Doyle Webb. “The Republican Party is the Party that represents the views and values of everyday Arkansans. Ms. Hatta has effectively called a majority of our great State a cult. Surely this liberal opinion isn’t that of most Democrats? I call on Chairman Turner and Governor Beebe to ask her to retract this statement.”

What a petty and small minded statement from someone whose candidate just got a whopping 29-point-something percent of the vote.

Of course Mariah is warning of a cult. She recognizes that Republicans in this state are finally stepping up and it is worrisome to the DPA because they don’t have a frame of reference as to how to deal with it.
Better she marginalizes a group (sound familiar?) and tell us to cower in the corner lest we make things a bit more uncomfortable.

She sounds scared to me. You always attack when you are behind if you are a democrat. Just shows how worried they are….. I am the Un American Blanche speaks of, the Right Wing Extremist, the Cult, …. wow…..Mark Pryor and Blanche Lincoln are already purchased by the Unions… in our right to work state…..

And you know…Blanche is going to vote for Health Care….. She doesn’t care what we want…never has…neither does Pryor or Snyder….They say they are smarter than the Average Arkansas Citizen.
Hey Snyder’s office even says it…and Lincolns office says they don’t care what the people that are calling about the issue say…because we don’t understand the Historic reasons for Cap and Trade, Government Health Care, and UNIONIZATION of all business.
Congress is getting pretty useless…. They don’t do their jobs….They are pretty worthless.
Asking this woman to retract her statement from Beebe..hahaha…. He is just another bottom kisser too…. He doesn’t care…..either.
