Democrat Rep. Blanche Lincoln Won’t Discuss Economic Damage Forced Health Insurance Costs Will Cause Arkansas Real Estate Industry.

After the Health Care Bill passes, the annual costs of Forced Health Insurance will disqualify millions of home buyer mortgage applicants, needed to support selling prices and home values; it is foreseeable Home buyers will increasingly qualify for smaller mortgages. For many, health insurance costs may equal their paid Income Tax increasing the risks of mortgage default. Homeowners who can’t afford health insurance or opt-out penalties, IRS can file liens destroying their credit; families deemed not poor by Government for subsidized insurance, may have to sell their homes or borrow money to buy health insurance or pay Opt-Out penalties with money needed for medical expenses.

Falling home prices and values continue to lower property taxes, forcing local governments to layoff workers and ask federal agencies for money; increasing federal deficits. Historically dropping home values cause unemployment in real estate industries, e.g. construction and manufacturing.

Drew - Any self proclaimed Progressive Democrat candidate that post comments on a conservative blog upset that his press releases are not being posted is in serious trouble. I don't even post most of the Republican press releases I get.

The reason I have not posted any of your releases is that you have yet to send me something that I have found intesting or usable. None of your releases were on topic for this thread. Good luck though. Have fun debating Kim Hendren.

Jason,

I have emailed you Press Releases and even though you may be a Republican, it saddens me that this blog is shilling for one view.

One aspect that I appreciate about Kim Hendren over the other candidates is he is willing to debate me. Sure we will disagree and we have divergent views, but when all you do is listen to what you agree with and believe to be truth, is when you become a synchophant. I am a progressive and proud to be a Bible Belt Liberal. But I read your blog and listen to my opponents, because on some issues, I find they have a better perspective.

I just wish someone who claims to wish to see Senator Lincoln replaced, would give equal time to ALL the candidates, not just ones you seem to like.

Calling it as I see it, Jason.

Jason, if you don't let people post to your blog, they'll stop reading it.

Screen as much as you like. But remember, the AR Times web log went from being one of the best to one of the worst (with 100 or so posting at most) when it required registration.

BLOCK THAT POST!
