Tonight I did a lot of research on the Republican Candidates runining to oppose Vic. First of all let me say they all seem like good individuals and solid Repubicans. I once was on the staff of a Republican running against Vic. I think the party had better keep looking for the right candidate. While they seem like good people from what I read about them I dont think they are up to the challenge. This is the Republican chance to beat Arkansas’s most liberal politician we need to make sure we have the right candidate. We need someone with some state senate or state representative experience. If you are out there and thinking of running now would be the time. The ideal Candidate would have one an election or two in the district and have a fundraising network to pull from. Dismang up in White county would make a great candidate. He is a state rep and he has a nice record coming out of the legislative session.

I agree with Taser Jake. We finally have a chance to beat Vic Snyder for the first time ever. His approval ratings have never been this low in 14 years. We will blow this once in a lifetime opportunity if we nominate Griffin. The Snyder people will destroy Griffin based on the Bud Cummins firing and replacing mess. So sad that we may waste this once in a lifetime opportunity to elect a conservative to Congress because we pick the one guy with negatives.

JS Tim Griffin’s negatives will prevent him from ever going to Congress. He claims to be a big wheel in the White House when Bush was breaking all of Clinton’s big spending records, bailing out Wall Street and crimes assosicated with ties to lobbyists were killing our party.

Tim plotted to get Bud Cummins fired and him appointed under an emergency provision of the Patriot Act. There was no emergency, this is what you call abuse of power for personal ambition. It is not what we need in a nominee for congress.

I know who Vic Snyder wants to run against, and that is Tim Griffin.

Tim Griffin would be a reliable conservative vote in Congress, regardless of his ties to Washington. It’s fallacious to assume that just because he’s worked for the federal government, he’s somehow not a conservative and wouldn’t vote our values.
