Rep. Mike Ross Denies the Rumor that He is Switching Parties

RossThe blog Liberty Republican Forum posted a rumor earlier this week, which was spread by Arkansas Morning, that Democratic Blue Dog Rep. Mike Ross might be switching to the Republican Party. I decided the best way to determine if this was true was to ask Mike Ross (I know crazy idea.)

“Any rumor of me switching parties is absolutely false,” Rep. Ross tells the Tolbert Report. “I’m an Arkansas Democrat–always have been and always will be. I will continue fighting for Arkansas values in our nation’s capital.”

does the top Republican in the senate like killing baby kittens and when did he stop killing them? Makes more sense then your lame question to Ross.

  2. Ken Says:

BTW what proof do you have Ross was contemplating a change. ARE you this desperate for a post?

  3. Jason Says:

Ken – Another blog that I linked to above posted the rumor. I asked Rep. Ross about it and got the factual answer to clear up the rumor. Savy?

  4. Michael Says:

Wait! You mean he’s NOT already a Republican?

    Dear Congressmen,
I come to you today to ask that you save our country.

Consider Tort Reform over a Government Healthcare plan.

Consider fixing Medicare over spending the funds we have paid into it during our working years that you now spend on individuals that have not contributed a single dime. Stop raping our just rewards on lazy persons quite capable of working, yet choosing to stay on welfare.

Consider putting yourself on Medicare rather than on a lifetime of the same salary you retired at and would continue to receive raises in years after your employment that you are taking away from the tax paying citizens that are on Medicare and living on their Social Security.

Consider enacting a law that would put a limit on your service to 2 terms.

Consider vetting our Presidents Czars with a FBI investigation.

Consider doing the same of our President, as you did John McCain and Hillary Clinton. You left no stone unturned when questioning them.

It is time you return our country to a safe place in which to raise our children and grandchildren.

Jason, you mean you actually followed up a rumor by asking the subject of such, and quoting him? When dinosaurs roamed and ethical journalism practices existed, this was common. It is refreshing, however, that in these times you would go the the SOURCE. Good job!

  7. Jason Says:

Thanks, Barbara. I have this wierd thing I do whenever I hear rumors about people. I actually call the person the rumor is about and ask them if it is true. I know – I’m crazy.

  8. Brett Says:

Don’t worry Jason…we’ve known you’re crazy. That’s why we enjoy reading your blog so much.

  9. Kevin Says:

what he says doesn’t matter in he least. the truth and he are very much estranged, as is the case with most politicians. however, most politicians at least have the hold office under the party whose platform they are most representative of. this man is a DINO pure and simple!
