Anna Grizzle Will Seek To Represent House District 51
Anna Grizzle, a Brinkley insurance agent with State Farm, has set up a Facebook group for her campaign for the House of Representative District 51. Word is her offical announcement will be sometime later this month. Grizzle intends to run as a Republican. The seat is currently held by Democrat David Dunn who is termed limited.
Grizzle is not new to politics. She has served as an election commissioner as well as chairman of the Monroe County Republican Party. She was also
an appointee of Gov. Huckabee to the Mississippi River Parkway Commission.
So far, no one else has announced their intentions to run for this open seat. My blogging friend from across the cyber aisle Rep. Steve Harrelson points out in the comments section that Craig Jones has announced he will run as a Democrat.
Harrelson also points us toward Republican Nancy Calton’s blog - Nancy’s Blog - who reported the story from the the RPA executive committee. I actually sat next to Nancy at this meeting.

And, I assume this blog below is referring to the candidate you mention above, but nancysblog.net mentions a “Hannah Griswald” running for the seat?
