Video: Doyle Webb presents the new RPA Website
The Arkansas GOP website is now live. State Party Chairman Doyle Webb gives us a tour.
Here is the full press release…
The Republican Party of Arkansas (RPA) launched today a new website which includes innovative, user-friendly features and greater access to information about the state party. The site, www.arkansasgop.org, uses new technology to help elect Republicans across Arkansas and encourage supporters to join the ever-growing online community.
“This new site will go a long way to helping us spread the conservative message and develop grassroots efforts across the state,” said RPA Chairman Doyle Webb. “This site allows Republicans to stay informed, get involved, and inspire others to do the same.”
At www.arkansasgop.org, you can read about the mission of RPA, join in a blog discussion, and follow Republican events in Arkansas. The new site is also a one-stop-shop for information on how to sign up for e-mail updates, contribute, volunteer, and tell-a-friend about RPA.
“New technology provides more opportunities to communicate your message, connect with voters, and operate more efficiently,” said National Republican Committee Chairman Michael Steele. “The internet also helps cultivate younger GOP activists and leaders who represent the future of our party.”
“Taking advantage of the tools of new technology is essential to expanding and strengthening the Republican Party of Arkansas,” said U.S. Representative John Boozman (R-AR). “I am delighted to see the new look of arkansasgop.org and all it has to offer in terms of communicating our message and generating support.”
The new website includes a variety of new technology to be responsive to Republican constituents, office holders, and potential candidates.
“The use of Facebook and Twitter will help build online activists, and in turn, generate on-the-ground outreach for the party,” Chairman Webb said.
UPDATE - Reading between the lines, my favorite Democrat blogger Blake Rutherford says that the RPA website is much better than the DPA website. I will have to agree, especially since the DPA failed to include me in their dismal list of Arkansas blogs.
