The Tolbert Report

Arkansas Senator Johnny Key (R-Mountain Home) spoke to the Central Arkansas Young Republican group at lunch on Monday and spent a few minutes afterwards visiting with the Tolbert Report. Speaking to the CAYR on the heels of French Hill, Rick Calhoun, and Tim Griffin, I asked Sen. Key if he is also considering challenging Sen. Blanch Lincoln for the U.S. Senate in 2010. He told me he has no such plans.

We also spoke about some of the issues he is currently working on specifically with the Joint Budget Committee and with a bill he is working with Rep. Jon Woods on that would exempt overtime pay from state income taxes. He also talked about what we can expect to see this week in the legislature.
